About S8
Super8 is an undergraduate Digital Media Design programme within a university school of design, recognised regionally and nationally for its teaching and graduate employment. Our teaching follows the front edge of the industry: AI-generated content (AIGC), virtual reality, digital humans, the metaverse, crypto art (NFT) and games. All full-time faculty hold degrees from leading universities in the United States and the United Kingdom.
The large majority of each graduating class is employed within the year, and we hold long-standing partnerships with leading local technology and game studios.
The programme also leads a cross-disciplinary Virtual Reality and Media Art Lab, drawing students from design, computing and communication. The lab has received industry teaching support and has been recognised with a national education partner award from a leading real-time engine developer.
Study abroad at top universities and employment at top studios are our first priorities, in service of a broader mission: to train versatile, internationally minded innovators and entrepreneurs.
